British actor Idris Elba has been unveiled as the latest celebrity to appear in the CBeebies Bedtime Story series.

The Luther star will join personalities including Perrie Edwards, James Norton and Cody Rhodes, all of whom will front different episodes in the run up to Christmas. Patricia Hidalgo, Director of BBC Children's and Education department, commented 'CBeebies Bedtime Stories brings magical moments to families all year round but there's something extra special about stories at Christmas time. We hope everyone takes something away from listening to a story snuggled up together'.
